Maui Traffic Control Services is seeking a dedicated Lead Traffic Technician to join our team on the island of Oahu. If you have experience in traffic control and a commitment to excellence, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for!
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate traffic control operations on Oahu
- Supervise a team of technicians to ensure smooth traffic flow
- Implement and enforce traffic control plans in compliance with regulations
- Monitor traffic conditions and provide detailed reports
- Maintain equipment and uphold safety standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience in traffic control or a related field
- Exceptional leadership skills and ability to collaborate effectively
- In-depth knowledge of traffic management principles and best practices
- Flaggers certification is preferred
- Valid driver's license is mandatory
Upon joining as a new employee, you will be required to become a member of LIUNA Local 368 and cover all initial membership expenses on your own.
We need someone who is available to work flexible day and night shifts as scheduled shifts can change daily. And lastly, you must pass a drug screening and background check.
