Position:
Maintenance Technician - Waikiki Vacation Rentals
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for completing the general maintenance of our vacation rentals to ensure the high-end properties are maintained to the company's and guests’ high standards.
Workdays:
5 days per week (Thursday to Monday).
Working hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (1-hour lunch break)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of home maintenance, appliances, plumbing, electrical
- Technology skills (Excel and Word)
- Possess a positive attitude, take initiative with little direction and demonstrate a willingness to take full responsibility for all position duties
- Reliable transportation, a current Hawaii driver's license and auto insurance coverage
- Reliable and well organized
Responsibilities:
- Manage all on-the-ground logistics for vacation rental properties within Waikiki
Complete the general maintenance of our vacation rentals
- Perform preventive maintenance on properties
- Install keyless locks on properties
- Organize control of Inventory, amenities, purchases, repairs, etc.
- Manage all physical aspects of the property, including repairs, maintenance, periodic inspections, and working with other vendors as needed in order to maintain each property
- Complete periodic inspections and perform preventative maintenance
- Inspect properties and perform necessary maintenance after guests depart
- Log all property-specific activities and provide detailed communication to Midway's management to ensure accurate billing and reporting of Midway's services
Compensation:
- $51,000 - $55,000/ year, based on experience
