Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Worker is responsible for keeping the buildings, its equipment, and systems in a safe and properly functioning state. Buildings are on all Islands and travel will occur to locations with 1-2 overnight stays. ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: CLEANING/REPAIR/MAINTENANCE - General maintenance duties include painting, door maintenance, welding and related tasks. - Repair and maintain the lighting, cleaning, operating forklift and scissors lift. Requires use of electronic maintenance logs. RESPONSIBILITIES/TEAMWORK/DEPARTMENT - Responds to request from other departments such as Parking, Janitorial, and Security. - Cooperates and works with vendors and contractors. - Informs Maintenance Managers of supplies and tools that need to be ordered and equipment that needs to be repaired. WORKING KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS: - Understanding of tools, maintenance standards, computer programs, ipad use, forklift, scissors lift. Ability to travel.
