Are you someone who enjoys working outdoors and has a passion for maintaining beautiful landscapes? We are seeking a dedicated Pond Maintenance Worker to join our team. This role involves cleaning and clarifying our ponds and pools, ensuring they remain aesthetically pleasing for everyone to enjoy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of ponds and pools, including debris & algae removal and water quality management.
- Inspect and maintain pond equipment such as pumps and filters.
- Monitor water levels, temperature, and chemical balances to ensure optimal pond conditions.
- Identify and address issues related to algae growth, pest infestation, etc.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communicate with the Resident Manager regarding any repairs or supplies needed.
- Perform other general maintenance tasks as required.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in pond maintenance is required.
- Knowledge of pond systems and water treatment
- Ability to operate and maintain pond equipment and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Work Environment:
- This position involves working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- The role may require working with chemicals and equipment related to pond maintenance.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with pond upkeep.
