Duties and Responsibilities:

Obtain, read, and follow Labels and MSDS of products used. Keep copies in company vehicle or electronic device at all times.
Apply non-restricted use products as directed.
Use all safety equipment applicable and wear all appropriate clothing.
Require that persons and pets be away from the home, office, dwelling or treated area(s) for at least 4 hours to allow liquid applications to dry.
Knowledge of or recommendation of precautions for properties.
Set mechanical rodent traps and place bait in bait boxes, attics, property lines, and other areas as directed.
Inspect premises to identify infestation source and access to infested locations.
Reference reports and diagrams or material on infestations and areas and determine treatment type required to eliminate and help prevent recurrence of infestation.
Assist other workers in treatment and extermination processes.
May be asked to measure area dimensions requiring treatment and calculate requirements.
Clean and remove blockages from infested areas to facilitate application procedure and provide access using appropriate tools and equipment.
Drive truck equipped with power spraying equipment.
Accurately record details of work activities performed; communicate and report to office as required.
Clean work site after completion of job.
Clean equipment as required.
Other related duties as assigned.
Reading & Math Skills necessary.
Working Conditions:
The exteriors and/or interiors of homes, offices, buildings, restaurants or areas serviced located island-wide is an example only. Working conditions will vary from job to job, depending on scope of work, project requirements, weather, etc. Workers must use common sense precaution in any questionable circumstance, e.g., ladder stability and other safety precautions, wearing sun protection for skin and appropriate head wear as a sun shield, severe weather, etc. When in doubt, workers should contact their supervisor or the office with any questions.
