About the Role:

Are you passionate about making a difference in the community?

We have a perfect job for you. We are currently seeking a few Community Executives. Ideal candidates are a self-starter, a role model and a highly motivated individual who assists the organization in the implementation of its annual campaign. Must be comfortable in public speaking and talking to large groups. Must be tech savvy in using computers, smart phones, and conduct virtual meetings.

Schedule: Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Type: Temporary/ Seasonal | Full-time

Assignment Duration: October 21– January 10

Pay: $20.00/hr | Mileage Reimbursement

Location: Honolulu Driving to various locations; driver’s license/car is required

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Gain a working knowledge of the organization and its member agencies.

Represents company professionally during in-person and virtual presentations, rallies, coordinator trainings, meetings and special events at various businesses including local government offices, universities, and department of education schools.

Research and cold call new business opportunities

Deliver campaign materials (Pledge Forms, Brochures, Posters, etc.)

Collect donations (cash, checks, credit card, payroll deductions, etc.)

Attend Community Executive Training

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Four-year degree from accredited college, sales experience and public speaking is preferred.

Must have access to a personal vehicle (automobile) that is not shared with others, such as a roommate or spouse."

Must have minimum insurance requirements of at least $100,000 in liability coverage.

Must be tech savvy in conducting and setting up virtual meetings; using smart phones; computer proficient

Previous experience in Sales and Marketing preferred

Previous experience working for non-profit organizations is highly preferred

Must be comfortable in public speaking and speaking to large groups
