Kauai Air Conditioning & Plumbing, Inc., a local mechanical contractor, is looking for a hard-working and motivated individual to join their team as a Coordinator. Being on time, reliable, hardworking and taking initiative is essential.

Candidates must have outstanding interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills, be detailed oriented, computer literate, and possess problem-solving skills.

The Coordinator works under the Department Manager to help coordinate, monitor, and improve the daily functions of multiple departments. The Coordinator will work with the team to create schedules, confirm appointments, procure material, and oversee project timelines in order to ensure the department goals are met.

Job Functions:

Process inbound residential estimation appointment requests.

Field incoming calls.

Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable for multiple departments.

Manage documentation, materials, status monitoring, billing, and invoicing.

Manages and processes material and equipment ordering.

Assists in project scheduling.

Creates and dispatches daily work orders.

Assists with the county permitting process and scheduling the final inspections.

Assists with inbound client inquiries to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives.

Act as the point of contact and communicate effectively with customers to identify scope of work and schedule appointments for the estimator.

Maintain and enhance ongoing relationships with customers.

Assists with daily communications.

Any additional duties/responsibilities deemed necessary.

Job Qualifications:

Excellent Customer Service skills.

Punctual and dependable for scheduled work hours.

A/R & A/P experience.

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate with a variety of personality types.

Good organizational and time management skills to handle multiple issues.

Attention to detail and completing work to a deadline.

Able to participate in customer relation issues and find solutions to solve customer disputes.

Understands the necessity of maximizing the productivity of the construction and technical workforce.

Understand the importance of handling sensitive and confidential information and documents.

Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

Proven capability to quickly learn and implement new software and technology tools.

Job Type: Full-time
