Hosoi Garden Mortuary, a locally owned and operated company, is seeking a full-time Office Assistant/Receptionist in our Life Plan office. The ideal candidate is responsible, dependable and highly motivated. We value those who are sensitive to the industry we’re in – those who are compassionate and kind.
Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday
Responsibilities
Answer multi-line phone system, identifying and directing calls in a professional manner
Respond to incoming inquiries, completing proper research
Maintain master schedule of appointments
Update and maintain office files and records accurately (including proofreading, data entry and collection of documents, etc.)
Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence
Provide support to department and assist with special projects requested by management
Maintain and organize inventory of office supplies and collateral materials
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Customer service/office experience, minimum 6 months
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to multitask, organize and prioritize tasks effectively
Ability to work both independently and as a team player
10-key by touch, MAS90 and Access experience helpful
