Installer for photovoltaic solar systems and mechanical persons:
The Installer position is a critical member of a solar installation construction team and is responsible for working in partnership with the Foreperson and Lead Installer to complete residential and commercial solar installation projects
Complete layout and assemble solar modules, the racking, mechanical and structural mounts, electrical equipment and tools in preparation of installation as specified in the project plan
Ensure personal, crew and job site safety at all times and participates in training sessions on new products, installation methodology and safety
Ability to safely work with all types of hand-held and power tools
Ability to work in all conditions and a varying range of locations such as rooftops, scissor lifts, or extension ladders.
Ability to work outdoors in various environmental conditions
Ability to lift/carry up to 75 pounds

Pay Scale and Position
Full time position 40 hours a week with a potential for overtime
Pay scale $22.00-$35.00
Based on experience and qualifications
Requirements
Valid Drivers license
Safety shoes
PV and construction experience preferred but not required
Ability to work with others and around large equipment on site
Location
Job sites will vary between both Hilo and Kona sides of the island.
