Combo Welder:
The Combo Welder will have at least 2 years onsite experience and the ability to various alloys, such as carbon steel, hardened steel, stainless steel, and aluminum using MIG or arc welding procedures. They will have the ability to weld metal components and/or fabricate or repair machine parts, ag equipment, implements, gates, fencing and trailers according to blueprints or work orders.
Duties:
Weld various types of materials with a 1/32 tolerance.
Fabricate or repair machine parts, ag equipment, implements, gates, fencing and trailers according to blueprints or work orders.
Weld pipe and pipe assembly components of all kinds of alloys.
Experience with MIG and arc welding techniques and procedures.
Operate and maintain various welding equipment, such as, MIG and Stick welders.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Welder:
The Welder is responsible for applying different welding techniques and properly following safety regulations for all cutting and welding machines, and the ability to complete welding tasks with little or not supervision. Minimum 1 year as a welder’s assistant.
Duties:
Apply different welding techniques, including MIG and Stick welding.
Properly follow safety regulations for all cutting and welding machines.
Complete welding tasks with little or no supervision.
Read and interpret welding blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
Inspect welds for accuracy and completeness.
Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
