TYPICAL JOB DUTIES:
The Fleet Manager works as a light mechanic and manages the golf cart fleet to ensure vehicles and equipment are kept in good repair and working order. Good written and oral skills are a must, because you will need to communicate with manufacturer on warranty issues. The Fleet Manager conduct regular service and maintenance at established intervals. We are team players, so the Fleet Manager may be asked to step out of the cart barn and assist with other maintenance and repairs, as it may relate to the driving range, equipment, and building facilities. This position manages the fleet but not people, and reports to the Director of Golf, as their immediate supervisor.
Part-time position with the possibility of full-time. Approximately 20 hours a week. Shifts are flexible.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Performs work in the shop and out in the field in all types of weather and lighting conditions. Must be able to lift fifty (50) pounds.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Good oral and written communication skills to keep service records, order parts, and coordinate with cart vender.
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Able to comply with company safety policies and procedures.
Basic knowledge in the use of tools, methods and equipment to repair and maintain golf carts and potentially other vehicles used on a golf course.
Must have a valid drivers license.
Good physical and mental health condition, who with or without reasonable accommodation, can perform the essential functions of the job.
