Ohana Wai LLC is a family-owned pool and spa maintenance company located on the beautiful island of Hawaii. Service area currently from Waikoloa to North Kohala for our route techs. Position: Route Technician
Key Responsibilities:
Arrive at the shop each morning to prepare for the day’s route.
Perform routine pool and spa maintenance, including cleaning surfaces, testing water chemistry, and balancing chemical levels.
Conduct equipment checks to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Clean pool surfaces, filters, and equipment as needed.
Identify and report issues or alerts to the lead technician for further attention.
Maintain accurate service logs for each job completed.
Restock vehicle with necessary chemicals and tools daily.
Communicate with clients about services performed when necessary.
Operate and understand pool equipment functionality, including pumps, heaters, and sanitization systems.
Adhere to a set route and schedule while maintaining high service quality.
Qualifications:
No experience necessary for the right candidate—training will be provided.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent service.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Physical ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies as needed.
Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
What We Offer:
Full benefits with only 4-day work requirement, but 5-day work week is available as well. In addition, we value the hard work and dedication of our employees. For full-time positions, we offer a unique compensation structure designed to reward commitment and effort. While the standard workweek consists of five days, we calculate your salary as if you were working an extra day's shift. This approach ensures you receive competitive pay that reflects your contributions and provides added financial stability.
