We are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Foreman to join our team and oversee the successful execution of our construction projects.
Job Summary:
The Site Foreman will be responsible for supervising and coordinating on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of construction processes, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead on-site construction teams, including subcontractors and laborers.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate daily tasks, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with leadership, management, project managers, engineers, and clients to provide updates and resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including labor, materials, and equipment usage.
- Enforce company policies and procedures, including safety and environmental compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges to minimize delays and disruptions.
- Train and mentor junior staff to promote skill development and teamwork.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Site Foreman or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Hawaii IRC
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., CoConstruct, Procore, Buildertrend).
- Bilingual skills - Spanish
