Shaka Pops Kauai is seeking a part-time professional and energetic person to deliver our tropical artisan ice pops (popsicles) all over Kauai 2-3 days a week for 7-9 hours per day, Tuesday through Thursday. The ideal candidate is able to work well independently and has a positive attitude. You will be driving our company delivery van for the majority of your day, so you must be a great driver and be able to plan your day accordingly. There will be a $500 retention bonus paid at the 6-month mark of employment.
Duties Include:
Pull pre-orders, pack coolers and load company delivery vehicle
Deliver to wholesale accounts on established routes, evaluate, and fill inventory
Create and print invoices in Quickbooks (training provided)
Perform basic freezer maintenance (wipe down, de-ice, replace placards, etc.)
Unload coolers, re-inventory product at end of the day
Gas up vehicle and restock supplies as required
Maintain delivery vehicle cleanliness
Lift up to 45 pounds
Qualifications:
Minimum age 21 and over
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; no excessive speeding tickets
Ability to read, write and do simple math (add, subtract, multiply)
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Reliable transportation to/from work
History of dependable attendance
Delivery experience a plus
