I am hiring 2 caregivers for my elderly father with Alzheimer's.
The two current openings are:
1. Dayshift - Thursdays and Fridays 7:55am - 8:00pm
2. Nightshift - Sundays and Mondays 7:55pm - 8:00am
This is an independent contractor position. Pay starts at $25/hr. and will increase as care needs increase. Paid bi-weekly via check or Zelle, your choice.
This job includes a lot of memory care, reminders, redirection, occasional deescalation, and frequent repeated conversations should be expected :)
Currently, days are strictly companionship, while nightshift has light care, such as washing his back and helping with compression socks but also hours of sleeping when patient sleeps.
Ideal applicants are CNAs, ETM-Basics, or hold a similar certification and have provable experience and/or education in memory care.
There is a background check and UA before hiring.
