Meridian Concrete LLC is Hiring – Experienced Concrete & Irrigation Crew Member
We’re looking for a dependable, hands-on lead who takes pride in their work, operates equipment confidently, and communicates well with clients. This role blends residential concrete work with irrigation expertise. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, drama-free, and ready to jump in wherever needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate mini skid steers (SK800 or similar) and concrete buggies on job sites
Prep residential sites for concrete: excavation, grading, compaction, and form setting
Set and finish residential flatwork (driveways, patios, sidewalks, walkways, etc.)
Pour, screed, edge, broom, and finish concrete (including smooth and stamped finishes)
Meet with homeowners to review project scope and maintain clear communication
Install and service residential irrigation systems:
Run new lines, add or cancel zones, cap lines
Replace, adjust, and troubleshoot sprinkler heads
Repair broken pipes and fix low-pressure or dry spot issues
Program, adjust, or replace timers/controllers
Load/unload materials, haul with dump trailer, and perform dump runs as needed
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
Requirements:
Experience in residential concrete (form setting, prep, and finishing REQUIRED)
Skilled in residential irrigation systems and repairs (REQUIRED)
Able to troubleshoot full systems, including valves and controllers
Familiar with trenching, line depth requirements, and proper system layout
Proficient operating SK800s or similar equipment
Strong client communication and professionalism
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors
