Plumber in a Nutshell
The plumber will installer, maintain and repair water and gas supply lines and heating and cooling systems as well as maintain the flow and drainage of water, air and other gases by assembling, installing and repairing pipes, fittings and plumbing fixtures.
What You’ll Be Doing
Assemble, install, maintain and pressure test all pipes, fittings and fixtures of heating, water drainage, sprinkler and gas systems accordingly to specification and plumbing codes.
Install and repair pipes, fittings, valves, fixtures and plumbing system equipment, including sinks, commodes, water heaters, water softeners, etc.
Determine sources of plumbing malfunctions and complete repairs as indicated or according to work orders.
Light construction, carpentry, painting, plastering, flooring, ceiling and electrical work as required.
Inspecting and testing plumbing systems for safety, functionality and code compliance.
Receive and complete work orders.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum of 4 years plumbing experience
Idaho journeyman plumber license
Valid driver license with clean driving record
Knowledge of plumbing repairs, maintenance and installation techniques.
Knowledge of plumbing codes.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics and written reference materials.
Ability to diagnose and resolve problems.
Ability to use hand and power tools
Excellent communication and customer service skills
