HVAC Service Technician in a Nutshell
The service technician’s role is to provide excellent customer service while providing maintenance and repairs on a variety of both residential and light commercial air conditioning and heating systems.
What You’ll Be Doing
Inspect, maintain, repair and troubleshoot HVAC systems and equipment
Diagnose and repair system issues
Clean, adjust and repair systems
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults
Installation of system accessories such as thermostats, whole house air purifiers and start assists
Perform preventative equipment maintenance and warranty services as needed
Identify maintenance risks on equipment
Promote and offer system accessories and services that will help keep the systems in top working order
Conduct performance tests and adjust systems settings accordingly
Offer and promote the benefits system maintenance contracts to the homeowner
Maintain proper stock, parts, tools and safety equipment on the vehicle
What We’re Looking For
A minimum of 1 year of previous HVAC service tech experience
CFC universal qualified
R-22 and R-410 certified
Must be able to lift/move a minimum of 100lbs
Ability to use basic hand tools, meters and other hand-held electronic devices
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Comfortable working outdoor in the elements
High school diploma or equivalent
Must have valid driver license and insurable driving record

Full-time - Monday through Friday (possible weekend overtime)
