Company VehicleWhat You’ll Do:
Cultivate a safe and productive environment through example, training, and tracking
Oversee hands-on training and support of crew employees, including proper operation of equipment, pruning techniques, safety, and quality standards
Know and carry out client needs and expectations by regular communication with the Account Manager and Production Manager
Ensure that job site quality and appearance meet client and Franz Witte’s standards
Work with the Account Manager and Production Manager to identify staffing needs, hire new crew employees, and prepare daily crew schedules
Implement and enforce Franz Witte’s policies and procedures related to safety, the proper upkeep and maintenance, storage, use, and training required for department equipment
Monitor and achieve desired company production rates and task hours for each job
Daily monitor and approve crew timesheets to ensure accuracy and targeted budget progress
Inspect properties weekly and prepare and implement action plans for needed service items
Manage all landscape services including people, equipment, material, and subcontractors
Monitor all aspects of the landscape and identify property safety and plant health problems
Monitor irrigation systems, identify problems or necessary repairs, adjust or repair as needed and/or communicate recommendations to the appropriate party
As necessary, perform hands-on work with crews to meet work and scheduling demands
Manage and assist in snow removal services in the winter as needed.
Skills We’re Seeking:
3+ years’ experience in landscape maintenance
Good communication in both English and Spanish
Valid Driver’s License
Dependable and Enthusiastic
Desire to Learn and Work Safely as a Team
Be able to take and give Instruction and Training
Time and Priority management
