We are currently seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our team. As our Marketing Assistant you will get to spend your time working on marketing materials for all three of our departments. Not only will you get to be a member of one of the “coolest” teams around, but you will also get the opportunity to learn about the industry and see your work grow our business.What You’ll Do:
Assist the President with a comprehensive marketing campaign for the entire company. Develop our marketing strategy to align with our company goals and creative a cohesive and consistent brand that is known and trusted
Create marketing budget yearly with input from the President
Include media type and costs associated
Work with outside vendors on plans and budgets for different marketing avenues
Oversight of marketing assistant and associated budget items
Calendar of all marketing activities to share with all involved
Responsible for conveying the Franz Witte brand across all external media avenues

Customer Email newsletter
Social media postings
Workshop and events
Website
Daktronic Board
Design materials
Pamphlets
Press releases
Informational brochures, and so on
Responsible for all communication with outside vendors and salespeople regarding marketing plans
Responsible for internal communication to employees to enhance our culture to attract and retain the best talent
Flamingo Flyer company newsletter
Assist with postings for open positions
Marketing materials for career fairs, etc.
General signage and posting of information in employee areas, etc.
Apparel designs and creation of catalog for employees
Social Media
Monitor all social media accounts affiliated with Franz Witte (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Google My Business, Pinterest & YouTube)
Site signage
All signage for Garden Center sales and events
All signage for site and safety measures
Photography & Videography
Photos and videos for promotional materials
Photos and video of company projects for promotional materials
Photos and video of company events
Expand our YouTube presence through videos
Internal training videos for use company wide
Events
Responsible for vendor sourcing (Food trucks, musical guests, educators
Promoting classes and workshops
Planning and executing of company parties and events with Culture Committee guidance
Other responsibilities
Assist in the Garden Center when needed during high traffic times or events
Serve on the safety committee and promote safety campaigns.
Play an active role in the Cultural Committee
Other responsibilities as assigned
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
College degree in Marketing or equivalent experience
Graphic Design Excellence
Extensive knowledge of marketing avenues, metrics and analytics
Excellent organization and communication skills
Social media, website and intercompany communication experience
Tech savvy
