Small business owner (family business) is seeking an experienced and trustworthy bookkeeper to work one day per week in Oak Brook IL.
Duties will entail accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciling statements, receipt retention, and working with Quickbooks. Some basic additional administrative work will be part of the job. Collaboration with tax accountants will be necessary as needed.
Ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience keeping books for a small business, is highly proficient in Quickbooks, is an organized person, has a pleasant personality, is reliable, and trustworthy. A background check will be required before any final hire.
This job is about 5-8 hours per week and most weeks will be on one day in our location in Oak Brook. There is easy parking and a professional dedicated work space.
This part time position could be ideal for a recently retired professional, a stay at home parent, or someone looking for some part time work with some flexibility on day of week.
