Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Attorney/Lawyer in Chicago, Illinois. In this role, you will be part of our team in the legal industry, where you will handle complex commercial real estate finance cases and work with non-profit corporations. Responsibilities: Oversee complex commercial real estate finance cases. Engage with non-profit corporations and handle relevant legal matters. Utilize your skills in corporate transactions and contract law to serve our clients' needs. Work independently as well as collaboratively with other team members. Demonstrate strong technology skills to efficiently manage cases and client records. Ensure a high level of attention to detail in all work, including client communications and record keeping. Show a genuine interest in economic development and our practice areas. Multi-task efficiently to handle a high volume of cases and client inquiries. Use strong written and oral communication skills to interact with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders. Utilize knowledge of corporate law and corporate real estate to provide comprehensive legal services. Requirements Possession of a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Must be a member in good standing with the Bar Association Proficiency in Corporate Transactions Demonstrated experience in Commercial Real Estate Knowledge and expertise in Corporate Real Estate Proficiency in Corporate Law Experience and knowledge in Contract Law Excellent negotiation and communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Proficient in legal research and writing High ethical standards and professional integrity Ability to maintain client confidentiality Strong interpersonal skills for client interactions.
