Our teams are collaborative and forward-thinking; the successful candidate will help shape the operations and support for critical Windows and Linux-based applications, customers, and projects, working closely with the Development, QA, IT Operations, and Customer Operations teams.About the Role: As a Systems Engineer III, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex systems that meet the organization's needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that systems are reliable, scalable, and secure. Your expertise in system architecture and design will be critical to the success of the organization's technology initiatives.Responsibilities:
Monitoring and ongoing support of critical, high-revenue business applications
Working with diverse technical and non-technical teams, including Development, QA, IT Operations, Customer Operations and Project Management teams
Writing and maintaining systems/application documentation for technical and non-technical
Designing and implementing complex systems and networks to meet business needs.
Developing and executing test plans to ensure system functionality and reliability.
Requirements:
Experience with system and application monitoring – e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, Cloudwatch, etc.
Experience of working with / hosting containers via platforms such as Docker
Experience with Log Management tools e.g – Elastic Stack, Graylog or Splunk
Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or similar
Be familiar with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
