Description We are in the process of expanding our team in the Investment Management industry, based in Chicago, Illinois. We are specifically seeking to fill the role of a Corporate Paralegal. In this role, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for handling key administrative and legal tasks.Responsibilities: Conducting extensive legal research and analysis related to investment activities Assisting with the preparation and review of various corporate legal documents Providing support for the completion and processing of customer credit applications Maintaining detailed and accurate corporate records Handling and resolving customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions as required Collaborating with the legal team to manage and mitigate potential legal risks Assisting in the development and implementation of corporate legal policies and procedures Applying your skills and knowledge in corporate law to contribute to team efforts Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.Requirements Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, or a related field. Prior experience in a Paralegal role Proficiency in corporate law is a must. Excellent research skills and ability to understand complex legal concepts. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail. Proficiency in using legal research software. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Must be proactive, with the ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
