Our client, a leading organization in the technology sector, is seeking a Data Architect/Data Modeler to join their team. As a Data Architect, you will be part of the Data Architecture team supporting critical cybersecurity initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Data Architect/Data ModelerLocation: Chicago, IL (Hybrid - 3 days on-site, 2 days remote)What's the Job?

Document the current state of data architecture for operational data stores.

Define, create, and enhance data models for operational and reporting needs.

Collaborate with business lines to map business processes to data models.

Conduct data-driven analyses to optimize data provisioning patterns.

Assist in developing new models, analytic processes, and system approaches.

What's Needed?

3-5 years of experience in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.

Hands-on expertise in relational and NoSQL database systems.

Strong SQL and Python scripting skills.

Experience with data profiling and data flow understanding.

Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
