Director, Data and Automation Platform OperationsWe are seeking a skilled Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and Data Cloud expert to play a pivotal role in optimizing our Salesforce platform, particularly focusing on advanced features like Journey builder, Einstein (AI) capabilities, Personalization, Data Cloud integration, as well as other SFMC studios.Key Responsibilities and Duties

User and License Management: Oversee aspects of user and license management, including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, and sharing rules. 

Salesforce Configuration: Execute Salesforce configuration changes, covering Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports. 

Sandbox Environment Management: Manage Salesforce sandbox environments, ensuring a controlled and efficient development and testing process. 

Platform Optimization: Identify and gather requirements, translating them into best practice, scalable solutions, and ensuring an exceptional user experience. Recognize and leverage unused or underutilized platform features to enhance efficiency. 

Data Management: Implement rules and automation to improve Salesforce data quality. Conduct proactive system maintenance, including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer. 

User Support and Training: Handle user support tickets, focusing on prompt issue resolution. Monitor and improve user adoption through identification of training initiatives for both new and ongoing users. 

Technical Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing. 

Integrated Applications: Collaborate with integrated applications, ensuring seamless functionality and data synchronization. 

SFMC Setup and Support

Salesforce Marketing Cloud Setup: Assist in the setup and configuration of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, aligning with industry best practices. 

Personalization: Implement and optimize Personalization features across studios for dynamic content creation and personalized customer experiences. Collaborate with marketing teams to leverage Personalization for targeted campaigns. 

Data Cloud (CDP): Oversee the configuration and integration of the Customer Data Platform, centralizing and leveraging customer data for segmentation and personalized messaging. Ensure Data Cloud integration alignment across Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration with additional platforms. 

Advertising Studio: Set up and manage Advertising Studio for targeted advertising campaigns across various channels. Utilize Advertising Studio features for creating, executing, and analyzing advertising campaigns. 

Data Integration: Collaborate with IT and data teams for smooth data integration between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other systems. Implement data synchronization processes for real-time updates. 

Automation and Journey Building: Design and build marketing automation journeys to nurture leads and enhance customer engagement. Implement and optimize customer journeys using Marketing Cloud Automation Studio. 

Reporting and Analytics: Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track the performance of personalized campaigns and advertising efforts.

5+ years of experience utilizing all aspects of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud including execution, development, integration, and optimization

7+ years of experience utilizing all aspects of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud including execution, development, integration, and optimization

Salesforce Administrator Certification

Marketing Cloud Developer Certification

2+ years of experience as a Salesforce administrator and in information technology (IT)

Strong understanding of customer data platforms and modern data infrastructure

Experience with standard and extensible functionality of Salesforce Sales & Marketing

Proven history of working closely with business stakeholders, collecting requirements, and aiding in business transformation through solutioning

Experience in designing, developing, and supporting Salesforce.com implementations in growing environment

Proficiency in AMP script and java script

Experience with SFMC connectors and APIs

Exceptionally good interpersonal and communication skills including ability to communicate complex information and analysis in written and visual forms

Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Meticulous attention to detail, with demonstrated ability for accuracy and thoroughness

Ability to work in an agile team

Critical thinking to ask questions, determine best course and offer solutions

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, complex, and dynamic business

Demonstrated and dynamic analytical/problem solving skills
