As a leader in the MRO industry, we partner with customers to make sure they have the right maintenance and repair parts on hand when needed.We’re looking for an Email & Marketing Automation Specialist to join the Growth Marketing team that resides within our overall Marketing department. In their role, this individual will help drive our email marketing channel and marketing automation system. This role reports to the Supervisor, Growth Marketing and collaborates with other members of the Marketing team, as well as other key stakeholders.Our corporate headquarters is located in Chicago, IL. This role operates on a hybrid work model; employees spend two days working in the office and three days working remotely. We offer 401k plus vision, dental and medical benefits, as well as a paid holiday and PTO package.Responsibilities: Plans, creates and executes hands-on, day-to-day email campaigns, including staging, segmentation/list management, QA, scheduling, and deployment according to best practices and aligned to audience needs and business goals. Executes customer life cycle email channel management via marketing automation, leveraging CRM, and web data. Maintains the integrity and functionality of the marketing automation system. Creates compelling, digital-first, customer-centric email campaigns that align with campaign objectives and brand guidelines. Creates landing pages within the marketing automation system, as required by email campaign requirements and goals. Ensures goals and content align with best practices throughout the email campaigns, working collaboratively with brand and segment marketing teams. Evaluates email performance metrics and campaign results with Web and Channel intelligence to improve engagement across the email channel and customer lifecycle. Supports Q&A from stakeholders on campaign and audience setup, infrastructure and tool utilization. Other duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be assigned as necessary.Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, with 3 years of relevant experience in marketing automation management, Hubspot experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to work and adapt in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities. Ability to influence, collaborate and be adaptable within cross-functional teams and internal clients. Sharp eye for detail. Understanding of eCommerce and traditional/lead generation email campaigns. Excellent, highly professional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Experience with marketing automation tools; Hubspot a plus. Highly organized, self-starter and customer-focused. Able to multi-task without compromising quality.
