We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Lead - Applications, Finance and Accounting to join our team to oversee the technology platforms and applications that support the company’s financial and accounting operations. The IT Lead – Applications, Finance and Accounting will play a critical role in supporting the organization’s financial and accounting systems. This position will manage the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and enhancements of key finance and accounting applications, ensuring these tools meet the needs of the finance team. This IT Lead will also collaborate with stakeholders to implement system improvements and ensure data integrity, performance, and compliance within financial systems. This role requires a blend of financial & accounting expertise and strong IT acumen to align planning & implementation with the organization’s technology strategy and supports strategic decision-making. Champion our methodology to ensure consistency of service and completion of all milestones and deliverables to plan.Responsibilities:
Lead system enhancements, configuration changes, and updates to improve the performance of finance and accounting applications. Analyze user requirements and collaborate with the finance team to implement new features or process improvements.
Provide technical support for finance and accounting systems, including ERP platforms, financial reporting tools, and other related applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system functionality, performance, and integration with other systems.
Ensure timely resolution of user issues by managing support requests and working closely with vendors for escalated support.
Perform regular system maintenance, upgrades, and patch management to ensure system stability and security.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity within finance and accounting systems, including reconciling data between systems and validating reports.
Collaborate with finance teams to create and modify financial reports, dashboards, and analytics within supported applications.
Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects related to finance and accounting systems, including system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines, deliverables, and goals are met. Manage data migration processes during system implementations, upgrades, or integrations.
Implement and maintain security controls to protect financial data and ensure proper access management. Work with internal and external auditors to support financial system audits and provide necessary documentation.
Manage vendor relationships to optimize service levels and ensure adherence to agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes through automation and system improvements, leveraging technologies such as RPA (Robotic Process Automation) or AI-driven analytics.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience of leading and supporting IT systems, with a strong focus on financial applications (e.g., ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, etc.).
Proven experience managing the lifecycle of finance and accounting applications, including deployment, maintenance, and end-user support.
Hands-on experience with multitude of finance and accounting applications, such as ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.), financial planning tools, etc.
Strong understanding of financial processes (e.g., general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, financial reporting).
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Experience working in a cross-functional environment, with strong communication skills to interact with non-technical stakeholders.
Proven experience troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in finance-related applications.
This position is hybrid out of our Lincolnshire, IL or Chicago, IL offices. General Compensation Disclosure:The pay range for this role considers several factors in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Camping World, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the factors stated.
