Description:PROJECT MANAGERCHICAGO DEPARTMENT OF AVIATIONJOB ANNOUNCEMENTESSENTIAL DUTIES:Manages and directs major / large-scale programs or projects of significant size and scope related to airport security matters. Attends all on-site construction meetings during the design and development phase of assigned construction projects and provides appropriate input as needed to ensure compliance with TSA regulations 49 CFR 1542. Reviews plans for design and construction expansion, improvements, and enhancement to the airport; evaluates plans to ensure specific details conform to TSA security and safety regulations and requirements; confers with airport design and engineering staff in suggesting revisions to plans for compliance with the appropriate regulations. Maintains Airport Security Program documentation and revises relevant documentation as required. Ensures compliance with TSA regulatory requirements contained in 49CFR 1542 and the Airport Security Program through inspections, auditing processes and proper documentation. Provides guidance and instructions to assigned Projects Administrators. Reports to and takes direction from the Assistant Commissioner of Security Regulatory and Compliance. Attends Stakeholder meetings and provides regulatory briefings when necessary. Manages, coordinates, and tracks corrective actions needed to satisfy any non-compliance issues noted by TSA. Conducts “Commissioning/Inspections on all relevant construction projects. Conducts and tracks all regulated audits mandated by the Airport Security Program. Performs other job-related duties as required.Location: Chicago Department of Aviation10510 W.
