BANQUET CHEF / CATERING KITCHEN MANAGER
ORGANIZED PROFESSIONAL BANQUET CHEF TO PRODUCE DELICIOUS / ASCETICALLY PLEASING CUISINE!
Full / Part Time working creative Banquet Chef / Catering Kitchen Manager to manage our professional second floor kitchen catering operations for our events business. Minimum 5 years high volume kitchen experience and sanitation certificate required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Participate in and Coordinate the activities of cooks and serving associates engaged in preparing, plating, serving guests meals at events.
Ensure all food handling sanitation standards are maintained.
Supervise hourly kitchen associates, staying within the allocated labor budget, interviewing, scheduling, training, counseling, participating in reviews and recommending disciplinary action if necessary.
Ensure proper presentation, food quality, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures.
Track waste and purchase product.
Receive and inspect product and supplies for quality and quantity and rotate inventory / FIFO.
Help select and develop Banquet recipes and menus.
