Chicago’s Home of Chicken & Waffles, located at 543 Madison St. Oak Park, is seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager. This is a unique opportunity to become a part of a team that is working towards opening restaurants across the country with locations currently open in Chicago, Oak Park, and Nashville.
The ideal candidate will be passionate, organized, hard working and self motivated. They must possess a strong desire to learn and grow as a professional, while also having great communication skills and the ability to work well with a team. Strong leadership qualities a must.
Key Qualifications Include:
-Minimum of 2 years previous experience working as a kitchen manager/executive chef in a fast paced professional kitchen
-Working knowledge of Department of Health (DOH) standards
-Great work ethic
-Must possess the ability to work well in a fast paced kitchen
-Ability to work 50 hours plus weekly with open availability
- Experience with doing staff scheduling and maintaining tight controls on inventory, along with food quality
Competitive pay, $70k to $80k based upon experience.
