Chief O’Neill’s is a high volume establishment located in the Avondale Neighborhood for the past 26 years.
We are seeking a full time professional Head Chef to manage and oversee the daily operations and events at the restaurant. We regularly host events from 50 - 250 guests for all types of events, weddings, birthdays, showers, as well as our very popular Sunday Brunch Buffet.
Seeking highly organized full-time creative working Chef to manage kitchen staff and kitchen operations for our regular dining, Sunday Brunch and in-house event catering business. Minimum 5 years, high volume kitchen experience, menu development and implementation.
Assist and direct kitchen staff in meal preparation, creation, plating, and delivery for regular dining and in-house catered events, complete necessary prep for successful kitchen operation.
Monitoring inventory, minimize waste, purchase food and supplies from approved vendors. Monitor and compare vendor pricing for competitive pricing to control food costs. Collaborate with Restaurant Management to set item prices.
Effective scheduling to control labor costs, hiring, training and supervising kitchen staff.
Maintaining the kitchen equipment and surrounding areas in conditions that meet the company standards and health code regulations.
Developing unique and cuisine-appropriate seasonal menu items for specials and our catering menus. Staying current on developing trends and culinary techniques in the restaurant industry.
