Soon to be opened neighborhood Korean restaurant is looking for qualified BOH staff. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for cooking and plating food according to chef's direction, and prepping and cleaning your work station. Line Cooks are also required to perform some food prep. As a Dishwasher, wash dishes, utensils and pots and pans, operate dishwashing machine, keep the dishwashing and other area clean and help put away delivery. Must be gentle with dishes without breaking. Be able to multitask. Must be able to keep your station clean and organized.

Qualification:
-Energetic and professional team player with a positive, willing to learn attitude
-Able to Multi-task in a fast paced environment
-Ability to communicate effectively
-Fluent in English
-Valid IL Food Handler Certificate
-Kinfe skill :Butchering of meat, fish, and poultry
-Ability to walk and stand for the entirety of a shift.
-Must be able to move, carry, and lift at least 50 pounds.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
-Prepare food for our guests.
-Plate dishes according to standards set.
-Adhere to proper attire grooming, and hygiene standards.
-Arrive to each scheduled shift on time, in proper attire, and ready to work.
-Assist other stations or areas of the restaurant when requested by management.
-Clean and organized working habits with attention to detail
-Follow health codes set by city of Chicago
-Control food waste
-Put away product delivery and organize
Dishwasher:
-Wash, rinse, and sanitize all dishes, pots, pans utensils and etc
-Wash throughly and gently
-Clean and organize dish washing area and other area
-Put away clean dishes
-Put away and organize delivery supplies
-Help small prep
-Clean and stock bathrooms
-Sweep and mop floors
