Poke Bowl Company (www.pokebowlco.com), is an independent restaurant venue inside Whole Foods Market and looking for a hard working and reliable Team Members / Team Lead to join our amazing small but nimble team! We are currently offering a part-time position (18-24hrs) in our Kingsbury/Lincoln Park location. We're seeking friendly, professional and customer service oriented people with great attitudes. What do our Team Members/prep staff do?
Our employees are critical to our operations. Each Team Member contributes to serving customers, sanitation and preparation of ingredients for service. Prepping includes using varying equipment to cut/shred vegetables, and blending sauces. So easy that a high schooler can perform all the kitchen tasks! We serve healthy poke bowls and amazing marinated protein bowls among other items. If you love poke, you get a free meal every shift!
- Your primary responsibility is to make sure we are up to par and prepared every day with ingredients we need to create our bowls in addition to serving our customers and creating an enjoyable experience for everyone.
- Routinely clean and maintain the food station to ensure high standards and a quality work environment
- Communicate with our Manager on tasks
- Can operate efficiently in a fast paced environment while maintaining composure and excellent service.
EXPERIENCE
- Prior food industry and/or customer service experience a plus and preferred but we can train anyone that is motivated, reliable and hardworking
