We are seeking a team-oriented, hands-on Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen team and maintain the highest standards of culinary excellence.

Job Summary:

As the Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, including food preparation, staff management, inventory control, and ensuring that all food safety and cleanliness standards are met. You will be a key player in creating a positive and productive work environment, fostering teamwork, and motivating your team to consistently deliver outstanding dishes.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers. Ensure all team members are working efficiently and effectively, and foster a collaborative team environment.

Hands-On Operations: Actively participate in food preparation and cooking, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality, taste, and presentation. Be ready to step in and assist wherever needed during peak times.

Inventory & Cost Control: Manage inventory, ordering, and food costs to ensure profitability while minimizing waste. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, orders, and costs.

Menu Planning & Execution: Collaborate with the owner and management team to plan, develop, and execute menus that reflect current trends, seasonal ingredients, and customer preferences.

Compliance & Safety: Ensure all kitchen operations comply with food safety regulations, health codes, and company policies. Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, and ensure all equipment is properly maintained.

Training & Development: Train and develop kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, food safety standards, and company procedures. Continuously assess staff performance and provide constructive feedback.

Customer Focus: Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests. Address any customer concerns related to food quality or service promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role in a high-volume kitchen environment.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.

Excellent culinary skills with a passion for creating high-quality dishes.

Solid understanding of inventory management, food cost control, and kitchen operations.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance standards.

Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
