Busy Schaumburg office is looking for a full-time surgical assistant to join our amazing oral surgery practice. You will love working with our team, most of whom have been with our practice 13-22 years. The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, a team player and patient oriented. Also must be dependable, have a friendly, calm personality, a positive attitude and a good work ethic. One that is able to communicate effectively with patients and co-workers, always with a smile.
Duties include, not limited to:
- setting up, breaking down operatories,
- instrument sterilization,
- greeting and escorting patients to and from rooms,
- assisting during oral surgery procedures,
- assisting during anesthesia procedures,
- taking digital x-rays,
- restocking and other miscellaneous assisting duties,
- light computer duties.
Ability to float to the front office as needed is also a plus!
At least 2 years dental/oral surgery experience a must. DAANCE or other dental assistant certification is preferred.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, occasional Saturday. Approx 34-40 hours/week.
Competitive hourly rate dependent on experience. Excellent benefits after 3 months of employment.
