Rapidly growing manufacturing and distribution company in Melrose Park seeking full time detail-oriented, experienced delivery driver/warehouse worker. Accuracy, honest, reliable, good communication and positive attitude a must. Duties include order picking, loading and unloading trucks, taking deliveries to customers on route, and handling BOLs. Must be able to recognize different products and handle them properly. Inventory control, receiving shipments, checking in drivers, filling out documents properly, and quality control of shipments. Responsible for transport of products to designated area in production, warehouse, cooler or freezer environment. Requires use of forklift and pallet jack. Must be a team player.
Requirements:
Valid Class C driver's license
2+ years' experience driving a 22 ft truck minimum
Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) - no tickets, accidents, or DUIs
Ability to pass a D.O.T. physical and drug test
Ability to represent the company in a friendly and professional way
Ability to read map with or without GPS
Availability to work on weekends if needed
High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Must be in good physical condition, able to lift at least 50 lbs.
Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
Must have good communication in English, both written and verbal.
Ability to multi task; meet deadlines
Must have at least 1 year of driving FORKLIFT experience, previous Forklift Certification a plus.
Drivers must be 21 years old.
Must pass a criminal background check and a drug test.
