SUMMARY OF A WAREHOUSE WORKER:
Resource Employment Solutions is seeking a Warehouse Worker for our client in Des Plaines. Interested candidates must have a minimum of 1 year experience working in a fast-paced warehouse.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF A WAREHOUSE WORKER:
- Loading and unloading trucks.
- Order Picking/Packing and shipment of orders.
- Must maintain accurate inventory data.
- Put away inventory without damaging product.
- Help maintain a clean and organized facility.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following all company policies and procedures.
- Report any safety hazards or concerns to team lead, supervisor, or manager immediately.
- Work and communicate effectively with other members of the warehouse team.
REQUIREMENTS OF A WAREHOUSE WORKER:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Must be able to speak, read and write English. Bilingual candidates are welcomed.
- Individuals must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Individuals must be able to push utility carts with 60 pounds of materials.
- Experience with carts, dollies, and hand trucks to move inventory throughout the facility.
- Individuals must be able to climb up and down stairs when needed.
- Individuals must be comfortable working at a height of up to 40 feet on a mezzanine when needed.
- Strong organizational and time management skills are a must.
- Must be comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
SHIFT/HOURS AND PAY OF A WAREHOUSE WORKER:
- Pay Rate - $19.00 / HR
- Wed – Sat
- 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
