JSS Safety & Rescue is a safety & rescue company dedicated to serving clients across diverse industrial sectors, including Power Plants, Steel Mills, and Refineries. Our mission is to safeguard workers, assets, and the environment from potential hazards, thereby enhancing overall operational safety. We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Safety Attendants, providing an entry point into the dynamic field of safety management with Stand By Rescue.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor areas where confined space entry, hot work, or high-altitude tasks are conducted, maintaining constant awareness of potential hazards.
Conduct thorough inspections of work zones to detect any signs of flammable substances and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Effectively communicate with crew members and other personnel on-site to convey safety instructions and address concerns.
Assist in the completion of confined space permits and relevant paperwork, adhering to OSHA regulations and company standards.
Contribute to the development and implementation of field rescue plans, utilizing knowledge of rescue equipment and procedures.
Maintain detailed records of safety incidents or hazardous conditions, promptly activating alarms and coordinating with emergency response teams when necessary.
Physical Demands:
Ability to perform assigned duties and navigate various work environments, including confined spaces, elevated areas, and outdoor settings.
Proficiency in tasks such as climbing ladders, stooping, kneeling, and reaching, with a focus on maintaining balance and agility.
Flexibility to adapt to different work conditions and environments, demonstrating physical endurance and resilience.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.
Successful completion of drug testing and background checks.
Minimum age requirement of 18 years.
Completion of training courses and certification in safety procedures.
