A leading manufacturer of Industrial Wire and Cable seeking several Building Maintenances individuals with 2+ years experiences working in a manufacturing plant as building maintenance personnel. Person will be responsible for repairing, upkeeping and doing preventative maintenance on the building structures and systems.
JOB SUMMARY / RESPONSIBILITIES:
Building Maintenance Personnel will give support to the plants and field operations by ensuring that preparation work is completed and by inspecting facilities to ensure they are clean and ready for work and also provide maintenance support for other projects as needed.
Maintain building maintenance includes tasks like painting, changing light bulbs, cleaning, repairing the wear and tear of the buildings and ensuring the plants are presentable, safe and secure.

Provide an accident-free workplace; maintain a safe work environment and ensure safety initiatives are completed
Maintain and improve facilities in compliance to company and governmental policies
Control and reduce costs within targets by efficiently and effectively planning and managing work
Develop and maintain good relationships with all internal customers and outside contacts
JOB FUNCTIONS / DUTIES:
Maintain and improve all facility inside and outside the buildings, via internal and external contractors and labor
Maintain compliance with OSHA and governmental codes such as building, fire, water, etc.
Implement continuous improvement of facilities in a manner that reduces risk and negative impacts to personnel and
the business
Hands-on work will be required for troubleshooting and repair
Must be willing to work 12-hour shift and available to work on the weekends due to work overload and/or pending
projects
General mechanical and electrical knowledge and aptitude required
Physically demanding job, available to stand, walk, reach, scoop, crawl, push and lift up to 50 lbs.
Duties and responsibilities may change based on company needs
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
2+ years of Building Maintenace experiences in a manufacturing setting / environment
Have your own hand tools for work
Ability to multi-task and problem solver
Ability to work independently and with others
Must be able to work overtime as required
Good communication skills in English, able to read instructions and follow them
Basic computer skills
High School Diploma / GED and / or Trade School Certification for Building Maintenance or similar in this field
Bilingual- English / Spanish + but not required
LONG TERM WITH FULL-TIME OPPORTUNITITY PLACEMENT AFTER 720 REGULAR WORKED HOURS PROGRAM PAY RATE 19.00
WORK SCHEDULE:
1st Shift: Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. and available to work Saturday (8-hours)
2nd Shift: Monday to Friday from 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. and available to work Saturday (8-hours)
