Hyperion Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Operator to join our Arlington Heights, IL location, supporting our EMI Porta brand. Reporting to the General Manager, this position plays an integral part on the team by assisting with ensuring seamless coordination of inventory handling, storage, and distribution processes to meet organizational objectives and customer demands. Success in this role is defined by maintaining optimal inventory levels, minimizing errors, maximizing space utilization, and facilitating timely and accurate order fulfillment, ultimately contributing to enhanced productivity, customer satisfaction and profitability.

Primary Responsibilities:

Receiving and Inspection:

o Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing slips or purchase orders, and inspect for damages or discrepancies.

o Report any defects, damage or missing items from packing list to supervisor.

Order Fulfillment:

o Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to production and sales orders requirements.

o Prepare shipping documentation, including labels, packing list and bills of lading accurately.

Inventory Management:

o Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and reconciliations.

o Utilize established software tools or internal inventory tracking tools to record inventory movement and transactions.

Warehouse Maintenance:

o Help ensure proper maintenance of all equipment and the physical upkeep of the warehouse by following established procedures.

o Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including keeping aisle, storage areas, and shipping/receiving docks clear of obstructions.

Safety and Compliance:

o Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

o Help leadership identify areas of improvement to establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred

Ability to safely use and lift equipment weighing up to 35 pounds

Proficiency in operating material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks

Regular and prompt attendance required
