We are a family-run wholesale bakery manufacturer with 20 years in business, SQF certified and committed to food safety and quality. We are looking for a part-time SQF Coordinator to assist our PCQI/SQF Practitioner in maintaining and organizing our established SQF programs, with a strong focus on documentation and compliance.
Responsibilities:
Assist the PCQI/SQF Practitioner with all food safety and quality compliance tasks.
Maintain, update, and organize SQF documentation to ensure compliance.
Conduct and participate in daily and monthly food safety meetings.
Work closely with production to ensure adherence to SQF and company policies.
Monitor and verify compliance with pre-existing food safety programs.
Assist in preparing for and facilitating the annual SQF audit.
Perform internal inspections, verifications, and compliance checks.
Requirements:
Some experience in SQF, food safety, or quality assurance in a food manufacturing environment is preferred.
Understanding of SQF documentation and compliance in preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively with production teams and management.
Detail-oriented and organized, with excellent record-keeping skills.
Previous experience in a bakery or food manufacturing setting is a plus.
Schedule & Compensation:
Part-time position (flexible hours, to be discussed).
