A metal shop provides fabrication services and offers powder coating, black oxide, e-coating, phosphate coating, zinc plating, CNC machining, pad printing and other related services seeking Quality Technician individual with 1+ years of experiences and has worked in a manufacturing environment and has done chemical testing.
SUMMARY OF JOB:
The Quality Technician will provide quality control and assurance via chemical and functional test evaluations and undertake a variety of laboratory procedures of technical nature.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Quality Technician will be testing, monitoring, and recording results of process testing; chemical test evaluations, functional test
evaluations and part test evaluations
Quality Technician will monitor and report on quality activities, processes, and procedures as a result of chemical and /or functional
test evaluations
Quality Technician will provide regular communication to Team Leaders regarding testing results to ensure production department
adhere to Quality procedures and processes
Quality Technician will provide chemical addition/adjustment instructions to Team Leaders
Quality Technician will assist with the development of new projects, processes, and procedures with respect to chemical and
functional testing
Quality Technician will create and conduct quality reporting per Quality System with respect to chemical and functional testing
Quality Technician will promote and support a safe working environment
Quality Technician will communicate with Quality Coordinator and Quality Operation Manager to ensure continued process quality
through chemical evaluations
QUALIFICATIONS:
HS Diploma or GED
1+ years experiences as Quality Technician or related field,
Experience is helpful but not required (job can be learned onsite if person is willing to learn and take directions)
Basic computer skills (email, excel spreadsheets, and data entry)
Ability to read and write English and good communication skills
Person is required to talk, hear, walk and stand, no heavy lifting but must be able to handle liquid samples (12oz)
Work well independently and/or with team (good work ethics)
PAY RATE RANGE FROM 18.00 TO 20.00 PENDING ON SKILL SETS AND WORK HISTORY.

1st Shift: Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and available Saturday for OT
