We are a property management company with holdings all over the United States. Almost everything is managed from the Chicago office. This position is an in-person office job with no travel anticipated.
We are looking for someone who deals with phone work, details and follow-up exceptionally. Reliable organizational skills are essential. Use of Microsoft Officeparticularly Word and Excelis also vital. Making and updating detailed notes on an ongoing basis is also required. Legible handwriting is a must.
You will be working in an office with three other full-time people, and a fourth who will be there part time. That means everyone shares tasks such as phone answering, messaging and filing.
You will also be working with tenantsas well as contractorssome of whom you will be locatingboth in the Chicago area and around the country. You will talk with some of these people almost daily.
This is a permanent, full-time position located in the John Hancock Center. Normal work hours are Monday-Friday 9 am-5 pm. We would consider part-time with a minimum of 30 hours weekly.
This is an essential position. You will report to the company president through the office manager, and you will deal with both multiple times each day.
This is not an entry-level office job. Viable candidates must have years, rather than months, in prior office positions. We are not interested in "job hoppers."
