ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Position: Office Assistant for Commercial Construction Company
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday
Approximately 40 hours per week - $50,000 annually
Salary: Determined at interview based on experience level

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Knowledgeable in Accounts Receivable & Payable.
Perform general office duties such as 1 BOOKKEEPING. 2 Typing and Proofreading Correspondence. 3 CONSTRUCTION ACCOUNTING. 4 Typing Contracts, 5 Distributing and filing official forms. 6 PROCESSING CONSTRUCTION ESCROW PAYOUTS.
Provide administrative support/assistance to the staff.
Act as point of contact for the general public, screen calls, visitors and mail. Field inquiries, answer questions and follow-up actions.
Plan and direct the maintenance, filing, safekeeping, and computerization of all documents.
Perform contract administrative duties.
Assist in the duplication of records.
Order office supplies.
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Working Knowledge of QUICKBOOKS Software.
Prior Experience Working with or in Construction Industry Offices A PLUS!
Proficient in Microsoft EXCEL, WORD Programs, Outlook, and Windows Desktop Publisher
Proper phone etiquette
Typing Skills of at least 40 W.P.M.
High school or equivalency
Requires two years of general office experience including contact with the public.
Excellent customer service skills
Subject to a criminal background check and drug screening.
SUPERVISION:
Reports directly to the Company Owner
