About the Role:
Rinella Prosthetics & Orthotics, Inc. is seeking a Secretary / Office Assistant to join our medical team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, has strong communication skills, and wants to work in a professional healthcare environment. We will provide full training.
Responsibilities:
Answer and route phone calls from patients, medical offices, and hospitals
Schedule appointments and assist with daily office coordination
Enter patient information and notes into our computer system (training provided)
Communicate professionally with doctors, therapists, and patients
Maintain organized records, forms, and supplies
Support staff with follow-up calls and paperwork as needed
Requirements:
Positive, professional, and dependable attitude
Basic computer skills (email, data entry, printing/scanning documents)
Comfortable speaking on the phone and assisting patients
Willingness to learn office systems and medical documentation procedures
High school diploma or equivalent
Schedule & Pay:
Hours: 30–40 hours per week (Monday–Friday, daytime)
Pay: Based on experience
Training provided on-site
