We are seeking a flexible, reliable, and punctual individual to join our team as a Relief and On-Call Doorman. This non-union position requires someone who can step in as needed to cover various shifts, often on short notice, while ensuring that a high level of customer service is maintained at all times. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, adaptability, and a commitment to professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide coverage for regular doorman staff during absences, vacations, or emergencies
Greet residents, owners, vendors, and guests, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment
Maintain a high level of customer service, addressing any resident concerns or needs promptly and effectively
Monitor building cameras, ensuring the safety and security of the residents.
Communicate clearly and effectively with both residents and internal staff
Stand for extended periods during shifts and lift items up to 50 lbs as needed
Utilize basic writing and computer skills to perform job-related tasks
Qualifications:
Flexibility: Must be available to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, often on short notice
Reliability: Must have reliable transportation to ensure timely arrival for shifts
Professionalism: Must demonstrate a high level of professionalism in all interactions, including wearing a black suit and tie
Customer Service: Must be customer service-oriented, with a focus on resident satisfaction
Communication: Must possess excellent communication skills, both internally and with residents
Physical Ability: Must be able and willing to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Skills: Basic writing and computer skills are required
Experience: Prior experience as a doorman or in the hospitality industry, particularly in hotels, is strongly preferred
