Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Quoting Associate with a strong foundation in the construction industry and a willingness to learn. The ideal candidate will manage daily quoting operations, assist customers, and handle both office-related and onsite estimating tasks. This role requires attention to detail, adaptability, and proficiency with software tools.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Manage daily quoting operations, preparing and tracking project quotes.
✅ Answer phone calls and assist customers, both in-person (will-call) and over the phone.
✅ Conduct onsite estimates as needed, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
✅ Read and interpret blueprints, apply for bids, and create sketches for custom projects.
✅ Use software tools like Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and quote-generating platforms.
✅ Balance office work and onsite visits, ensuring smooth project execution.
What We’re Looking For:
Industry experience is a plus but not required – We value adaptability over tenure!
Basic knowledge of construction, glazing, or blueprint reading (or willingness to learn).
Strong communication and organizational skills – You’ll interact with customers daily.
Ability to multitask, manage time efficiently, and handle both office & onsite duties.
Valid driver’s license (for occasional onsite visits).
