The Cobbler.LA is now interviewing for a Retail and Service Manager at our Flagship first store location launching soon in Chicago. We are looking for one special candidate to fill this position. Management and commission sales experience is preferred. Our ideal manager candidate is a people person who loves to help others, someone who likes to have fun at work and is motivated to achieve goals. We are also looking for someone who is creative and loves to make clients look and feel their best using our innovative shoe cleaning and retail approach. In addition, we will offer an amazing environment for clients to relax and recharge.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our service and retail store. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for the retail and shoe industry, and a proven track record in retail management. As the Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and driving sales while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily store operations to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and service quality.

Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to foster a positive work environment.

Implement effective inventory control measures to maintain stock levels and manage supplies efficiently.

Drive sales through effective marketing strategies and promotions tailored to the local market.

Maintain administrative tasks such as payroll processing, reporting, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Utilize retail math to analyze sales data and develop strategies for improvement.

Ensure all team members are knowledgeable about products and services new hair styles and trends offered in the salon.

Foster a welcoming atmosphere for clients while addressing any concerns or feedback promptly.

Experience

Proven experience in retail management or service operations is required.

Strong background in sales management with an emphasis on achieving targets and driving revenue growth.

Familiarity with inventory control processes and stock management is essential.

Experience in product sales or related fields is a plus but not mandatory.

Administrative skills are necessary for managing day-to-day operations effectively.
