Audio Technician – DJ & Professional Equipment Repair
Location: Chicago, IL
We’re hiring an Audio Technician to join our team! We specialize in repairing DJ & Pro audio equipment, including power amplifiers, mixers, and signal processors.
Key Responsibilities:
Component-level repair of audio gear (power amps, mixers, audio processors).
Diagnose and replace faulty components.
Work with low-voltage systems (audio power and signal circuits).
Use testing tools like oscilloscopes and multimeters.
Maintain accurate repair records and ensure high-quality work.
Requirements:
Experience repairing professional audio equipment, especially DJ equipment such as Subs, amps, DJ controller, DJ mixers, DJ lights.
Strong understanding of electronics and low-voltage systems.
Ability to perform soldering and circuit board repair.
Familiarity with analog and digital audio circuits.
Own tools and equipment for repairs.
Details:
Hours: Monday to Friday, 11 AM – 6 PM.
Freelance/Independent Contractor position or W2.
Competitive pay based on experience.
